Managing Director

As Managing Director, Tony creates the vision for Hertz Lease and ensures our company values are implemented throughout our business. Tony joined the business in 1981 and has been instrumental in driving Hertz Lease forward to be the largest independent leasing company in Ireland, with an international reach. Tony brings his professionalism and vast expertise to our organisation, leading by example delivering the highest levels of service and customer experience.

Gerry Sheridan

Company Secretary

Gerry is a Director of Hertz Lease and Sheridan Motor Group and is Managing Director of our Kia dealership, Sheridan Waterford. Gerry brings his extensive knowledge of the motor sector and his financial acumen to our business. Gerry has been a prominent figure in the motor industry for many years, heading up Ford Dealer councils in Ireland and representing Ford dealers in a European forum.

Niall Mullen

Sales and Marketing Director

Niall is the Sales and Marketing Director of Hertz Lease. Niall has over 30 years’ experience in the finance and leasing business of which almost 20 years is with Hertz Lease. Niall leads the sales and marketing team and drives an unrivalled level of service and flexibility to our customers. In addition, Niall is responsible for building and maintaining our international business alliances as well as managing key local account relationships. Niall currently sits on the council of the Vehicle Leasing Association of Ireland.

Michael Hegarty

Operations Director

Michael is the Operations Director for Hertz Lease, joining the business in 2000. With over 35 years’ experience in the leasing industry, Michael is involved in maintaining supplier relationships, managing key clients and liaising with our maintenance team to continually improve the highest standards of customer care. Michael is a past president of the Vehicle Leasing Association of Ireland.

Noel Gahan

Group Finance Director

Noel is the Group Financial Director for Sheridan Motor Group, and was appointed in 2019. In this role, Noel is responsible for the finance and accounting functions throughout the Group. This role includes compliance with legislative requirements and organisational policies through effective management of all accounting, treasury, reporting, and budgeting processes.

Niall Mullen

Sales and Marketing Director

Niall is the Sales and Marketing Director of Hertz Lease. Niall has over 30 years’ experience in the finance and leasing business of which almost 20 years is with Hertz Lease. Hilary Moroney

Corporate Sales Manager

Hilary is our corporate sales manager, joining the Hertz Lease team in 2021. A well-known and respected figure throughout the industry, Hilary brings over 30 years’ experience in the finance and leasing industry. Hilary brings her excellent level of service and attention to detail to her ever-growing portfolio of customers, ensuring they receive the service at the level they need, when they need it.

Jim Rafferty

Business Development Manager

Jim has worked in business development with Hertz Lease since 1999 and has a wealth of sales experience across the finance, insurance and FMCG sectors. Jim manages a large number of long standing customer relationships and is a past member of the council of the VLAI.

Gavin Sheridan

Business Transformation Executive

Gavin brings a fresh and energetic approach to the business as our business transformation executive. Joining us in 2020, Gavin heads up a Business Transformation project to drive innovation and change throughout the business and help us keep ahead of trends and developments in legislation, technology and sustainability.

Anda Strauberga

Senior Account Manager

Anda joined the Hertz Lease team in 2021 as senior account manager. Anda has a wealth of motor and leasing experience having previously worked in both vehicle manufacturers and contract hire providers. Anda is a highly skilled and talented fleet professional specialising in vehicle pricing, submission of tenders and account management for some of our key clients.

Patrick McGough

Service Manager

Patrick has been our service manager since 2007. Responsible for our maintenance team, Patrick ensures the high levels of quality are maintained and ensures the cost of services delivered are efficient and fair. Patrick has vast experience in the motor industry having held roles with manufacturers, dealer networks and rental operations in Ireland and the UK. This technical knowledge and the relationships that have been built over decades, gives Patrick and the team a huge edge in delivering the best aftersales customer experience.

Jacqui Sheridan

Director of HR and Legal

Jacqui has over 35 years’ experience in the leasing and fleet management industry across Ireland and the UK. Jacqui is our HR and Legal Director, bringing her expertise, professionalism and experience to the business through all her interactions both internally and externally.

Sinead Quigley

Office Manager

Sinead has been the office manager for Hertz Lease for over 20 years. Sinead is a vital link in the management of our finance providers and vehicle suppliers whilst also managing the office and IT functions across the business.

Rebecca McGrath

Credit Controller

Rebecca started with Hertz Lease in 2002 as credit controller and maintains key relationships with our new and long standing customers. Rebecca is known for her efficiency and pragmatism in all her dealings with customers, ensuring great service at each point of the finance process.

Geraldine Sheridan

Senior Accounts Manager

Geraldine joined the company in 1990 and is responsible for closing off monthly accounts, maintaining contract data and the efficient delivery of all automated payment runs. Geraldine’s wealth of experience in these fields helps Hertz Lease maintain efficient and effective processes internally.
