Board of Directors

  • Tony Sheridan

    Managing Director

    Tony has over 35 years experience in the Contract Hire and Fleet Management market. He joined the company in 1981, having graduated with a BComm from UCD. He was appointed to the board of Sheridan Motor Group in 1986 and played a key role in the expansion of the Group’s business into the fleet market in Northern Ireland. He was appointed Managing Director of Hertz Lease in 2010 and maintains direct responsibility for a number of the company’s major fleets. Tony has an active interest in sport and has served on the board of UCD Soccer Club since 1978.

  • Jacqui Sheridan

    HR Legal & Administrative Director

    Jacqui has almost 30 years experience in the Contract Hire and Fleet Management market. She graduated with a BComm from UCC in 1986 and subsequently completed the Kings Inn Diploma in Legal Studies and Degree of Barrister at Law. Having worked initially with Hertz Lease in the UK, Jacqui joined the company in 1987 and has been a member of the board since 1999. She is directly responsible for the personnel and accounting functions of the business and handles all legal matters on behalf of the company. Jacqui was appointed to the board of Sheridan Motor Group in 2010.

  • Gerry A Sheridan

    Chairman & Managing Director – Sheridan Motor Group

    Gerry graduated with a degree in Electronics from UCC and an MBA from UCD. Having worked for several years with RTE, he joined Sheridan Motor Group in 1973 and immediately set about upgrading the financial management and technology systems in the Group’s motor dealerships. He subsequently developed the systems required to serve the Group’s expansion into Contract Hire and Fleet Management market. A former president of the Vehicle Leasing Association of Ireland (VLAI), he was instrumental in the group’s negotiations with Hertz International in securing the Hertz Lease franchise. Gerry was involved in the setting up of Waterford Local Radio (WLRfm) where he served as chairman for 15 years. He has a keen interest in sailing and has sailed frequently to South of France, Spain and Portugal.
